This fish roast recipe is easy & simple. In this recipe, I had marinated the fish with spices, salt, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice for 30 mins in refrigerator & fried it on the pan. Finally I have added lots of curry leaves to the dish, because I love the aroma & taste of the fried curry leaves. Let’s see the recipe.
Fish – 4 pieces (white snapper)
Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp turmeric pwd – 1/2 tsp
Homemade masala powder /kuzhambu millagai powder – 2 tsps
Lemon juice – 1/2
Salt as required
Water as required
Marinate the fish with all ingredients given above for at least 15 to 30 minutes in refrigerator.
In a pan, Add 2 to 3 tbsp of oil on med high flame, add the marinated fish one by one.
Fry the fish for 5 minutes on both sides on med high flame.
Now fry the fish on slow med flame, cook for another 3to5mins on each side.
Finally add handful of curry leaves & fry again for 3more mins on each side or until the masala & fish cooked. Serve hot & enjoy it.
