Spinach porrial / stir fry is healthy & nutritious recipe in South Indian cuisine. It is really a simply dish, can be prepared within 10 minutes. This is the recipe, mostly my mom use to prepare every time in my home, I really love it. This stir fry goes well with steam rice, curd rice, etc.,
Spinach – 1 bunch (finely chopped)
Onion – 1 no. finely chopped
Whole dry red chilies – 2 nos.
Garlic – 6 cloves chopped
Fresh coconut (grated) – 1 tbsp
Oil – 1 tsp
Mustard – 1 tsp
Cumin / jeera – 1 tsp
Moong dhal – 1 tbsp
- Heat oil on medium flame, splutter the mustard, cumin, moong dhal & dry red chili.
- Now add the onion, garlic & saute it for 3 minutes.
- Add finely chopped spinach & cook it for another 5 minutes.
- Finally add the grated coconut & remove it from the pan.
- Serve hot & enjoy it…
