Grind it into powder:
Green Cardamom – 4
Shahi jeera / black cumin – 1 tsp
Fennel seeds – 1 ½ tsp
Cinnamon – 4
Cloves – 6
Poppy seeds / kasa kasa – 1tsp
Star Anise – 3
Nutmeg powder – 1tsp
Javanthiri/ Jathikai powder – 1tsp
- Add all the spices into the blender and grind it into powder.
- This biriyani masala, you could use for all varieties of biriyani like vegetable, chicken & lamb etc…
- Better to use whole nutmeg / mace (javanthiri), which gives fresh flavours & taste.
