Ingredients:
Sreamed rice – 1 cup
Lemon juice – 1/8 cup
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Salt to taste
Tempering:
Oil – 1 tsp
Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
Groundnuts – 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds/ jeera – ½ tsp
Whole dry red chillies – 2
Ginger – 1 small piece (chopped finely)
Garlic – 5 cloves (chopped)
Green chillies – 2 chopped (gives flavour)
Curry leaves – few
Garnish:
Cilantro / Coriander leaves
Mint leaves
Method:

In a bowl, mix lemon juice, turmeric powder, salt and green chillies chopped.

Keep the pan on low heat and start tempering with the ingredients given above.

Once raw flavour goes away from ginger and garlic, now add the lemon juice mixture to the pan on medium flame.

Allow to boil for 2 mintues, add steamed rice to the mixture and saute it for 3 more minutes.

Put off the flame and garnish with cilantro and mint leaves.

Serve hot and enjoy it with pappads, pickles, raitha etc….
